Telling the story of Birmingham through its buildings, people, and spaces.
We didn’t know quite what to expect on the tour - by virtue of the fact we were looking for “lost” pubs you can imagine the problem that might present to a tour guide!- but Kevin was superb! His fantastic knowledge of Birmingham, the Jewellery Quarter, local history and architecture, along with his wit and charm made for a compelling and very enjoyable afternoon.
He kept us engaged in multiple ways, with photos and artefacts we could look at and hold in our hands... a real multi-sensory experience.
His radio mic meant we could always hear him despite any outside/road noise, and I came away knowing an awful lot more about this great city we live in. We even snuck in a cheeky pint together at the end of the tour!
I will definitely be booking on to another of Kevin’s tours in the future, and can not recommend him highly enough. Thanks Kevin!
THANK YOU for a wonderful walking tour yesterday — both I and the students learned so much, and it was great to get your perspective on art deco Birmingham.
